An adoption story: The H. Family

On Cinco de Mayo, there are a lot of festivities going on in San Antonio, but I'd say the happiest of celebrations that day was the adoption of baby R! This sweet out-of-state family has a very special and unique adoption story. This family has a very open relationship with the birth family. They talk regularly, have had several visits together, and share a strong love and connection for each other and baby R. The H. family had plans that weekend to spend a lot of time with R's birth family, and they even had shirts made for them that said "Family Ever After." I love the attitude of the H. Family because they see this special relationship as just more family in their lives and more people to love baby R. Here are some of the highlights of R's adoption day. God bless you H. Family!
